Crystal is motivated to elevate leaders and empower others to reach their potential. As a coach/ consultant, facilitator and speaker she partners with individuals, families, leaders and organizations to improve their level of effectiveness, efficiency and excellence.
She brings a solid down-to-earth approach that is tempered by a broad and diverse set of Christian,personal and professional cross-cultural experiences. These, balanced with her education, experience and clinical training, inform her style with depth, reliability, and authenticity.
The world we live in is filled with both rapid change and tremendous opportunities. As a coach/consultant Crystal assists others in navigating the change and creating a path that will lead them towards the fulfillment of their specific objectives.
Her extensive counseling, and consulting background has made her uniquely qualified to assist others in reaching their goals. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources from the University of Richmond, Richmond, VA, a Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, VA and completed PhD course work in Urban Services ( Psychology Concentration) Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA. Her professional career path includes International Director of Human Resources, for a Christian Child Sponsorship Organization and President/Founder of a human service’s organization, a client centered agency providing assessment, counseling training and educational services to foster care and adoptive families, and at-risk youth, substance abuse counseling, and administrating a workshop for developmentally disabled adults. Crystal completed all qualifications for certification in mediation, professional and christian coaching.
As a Consultant, Crystal assisted organizations in Team Building, Organizational Development,Strategic Planning, Human Resource Planning. Some of these companies/agencies include, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts( Friends of African American Art ) Virginia Blood Bank, Agecroft Hall, and Universities,private medical and community professionals. Crystal s a graduate of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Metro Richmond. In addition, Crystal served as a volunteer Team Leader/Mentor for a Christian Based Women’s Ministry, Hands of Hope, providing mentor training, coaching, and mentoring.
She is presently serving as a representative and lead of the Research Group on the Family Representative Council for the Virginia Commonwealth University Well Project.
